Are you a journalist interested in a story that stretches across European borders? Do you have a hard time reporting these cross-border stories because of a lack of resources? The European Local Cross-border Journalism grant programme supports local investigative journalists in Europe working on stories with cross-border dimensions.
This project targets journalists, both freelance and employed, and news outlets developing stories in all Creative Europe participating countries (EU and non-EU). It covers your working time and expenses such as travel, logistics, insurance, legal support, and advice on risk management and security issues. You can also apply for mentoring from an experienced professional journalist.
This programme is financially co-supported by the European Commission (Creative Europe) and Adessium Foundation (the Netherlands) and coordinated by Journalismfund.eu (Belgium), Transitions (Czech Republic), SSE Riga Centre for Media Studies (Latvia) and the European Federation of Journalists (Belgium).
