Ajdin Kamber

Ajdin Kamber is a journalist, videographer and freelance photographer.

He graduated and master's degree in journalism at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Sarajevo.

He started working as a journalist in 1999 at Student Radio eFM in Sarajevo. In 2010, he cooperated with IWPR (Institute for War and Peace Reporting, London). In the meantime, he works and collaborates with video agencies, TV and radio newsrooms and internet portals: CROSS radio, SEERN, Discriminacija.ba, Mediacentar Sarajevo, Center for Nonviolent Action (Sarajevo/Belgrade), Balkan Investigative Reporting Network (BIRN), eTrafika.net, Kosovo 2.0, Sense Transitional Justice Center from Pula and others. Since 2017, Deutsche Welle correspondent from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the countries of the region.

He deals with topics in the field of human rights, migration, minorities, transitional justice in BiH, dealing with the past and nature protection. Reports from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the countries of the region.

Author of several documentaries on the topic of human rights. Co-author of the documentary film "Azemina", which was shown in the competition program of the Sarajevo Film Festival.

He exhibited his photographs at exhibitions in Sarajevo, Banja Luka, and Pula.

Winner of the EU Award for Investigative Journalism as well as the Srđan Aleksić Journalist Award for professional and continuous reporting on marginalized and vulnerable groups in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
