Daniela Sala is an Italian award-winning multimedia journalist, photographer, and videographer focusing on the SWANA region and covering the climate crisis, migration, trafficking, human rights, and mental health.

Her works were featured by Al-Jazeera,The Guardian, Der Spiegel, El Paìs, Woz, Al Monitor, De Morgen, Trouw, Internazionale, RAI, News Deeply, RSI, Open Migration, Elle, among others. She is currently based in Rome and she is a co-founder of FADA collective.
